This course has been developed in response to the needs of local industry and enterprise in line with the emerging importance of the energy sector both nationally and globally. This course is designed to provide comprehensive practice-based management education to those currently working or who wish to enter the energy industry.
This broad course works across the entire energy mix, including electricity, bio fuels, renewables, oil and gas and nuclear, making for highly employable graduates. Combined, the course’s lecturers have over 50 years’ experience in the energy industry, providing you with valuable insight throughout the course.
The content of this course reflects feedback from the energy industry and is intended to fulfil the management training requirements for technical, business and early career managers within the sector.
In common with so many of our Oil and Gas portfolio, this is a practical course that gives you the opportunity to carry out a simulation project, as well as experience in budgeting, bidding, the process of drilling wells and buying and selling shares. Find out more.
