We have an institute dedicated to Energy Transition with state-of-the-art facilities

The Energy Transition Institute was set up to provide a front door for companies looking to take advantage of our expertise in oil and gas. We have a network of partner institutions and a team of experts who can support your business needs.

We deliver thought-leadership, education, training, consultancy, research for business and exclusive facilities including our Wave Tank, Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle (ROV) testing area and our Drilling and Wells simulators (DART).

DART represents a joint-venture between KCA Deutag and RGU. The Drilling and Wells simulators facility stands head and shoulders above any other facility in the region.

Our Drilling and Wells simulators focus on offshore and land energies which provides our students are well trained and well equipped to meet the needs of the energy industry moving forward, which is why we are continuously developing enhanced simulator technology that is designed for the future. The simulators unlock the essential knowledge which underlies the development of practical capability and competence.

DART work closely with the Industry in providing solutions that meets the Industries specific objectives.
